Taiwan-New Mexico Workshop – The SS&TP hosted executive leaders from the Hsinchu Science Park (HSP) Administration in March. The HSP in Taiwan has over 477 high-tech companies that employ more than 148,000 people with sales revenues exceeding $41 billion. The visit was part of a long-term collaborative relationship between the HSP and New Mexico Science & Technology Parks Alliance to promote the exchange of best practices and business opportunities. The workshop included discussions on various aspects of technology transfer between the HSP delegation and New Mexico community leaders. The visitors also toured the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History, Center for Integrated Nanotechnologies (CINT), EMCORE, Heel, EMCORE’s and the Science & Technology Park @ UNM.
